What a fun weekend! The Mah Family was in town to celebrate the nation's birthday as well as Grandma Mah's 30th (x 2) birthday :)
We had some great quality time with our favorite nephew Ethan
We put our heads together and cooked Grandma birthday dinner on Friday night - fish tacos with mango slaw, ribs, cilantro-lime rice, black beans and asparagus.
Who knew? The queen of desserts does NOT like dessert - so we opted for some fruity sorbet and gelato instead (please excuse the horrible singing).
The next day we went swimming - Ethan's first time in the pool! He loved it.
And finally we had our big SURPRISE party for Grandma Mah (we got her good!)...
Complete with a Violet Jeopardy game...

Ok, I said it last week to Eric, but I'm going to go on official record on your blog and say that we are gonna meet our nephew EARLIER than July 17. Hey, I'll even say he's gonna make an appearance THIS WEEK!!!
