Dillan sometimes has major blowout diapers - where the diaper can not contain the poo and it overflows. One of the worst ones was when Grandma was holding him - and he was wearing a very ironic onesie. The front of it says 'I'm Mahvelous - Feed Me!' And here is the back of it:

One Month
Apologies for the tardiness of this post. We've been having some technical difficulties - our camera broke! Anyways...Dillan turned one month old on August 11th! It's hard to believe that he came into the world just one month ago - he's grown so much in that time. Here he is with Bevo. We'll be tracking his growth by comparing him to his (hopeful) future college mascot. Thanks Godfreys for the cool present!
At one month old, Dillan:
- is about 10.5 lbs (using a very unofficial method of weighing him)
- has outgrown his newborn diapers and onesies
- is getting better at tummy time and likes to hold his head up and look around a lot
- smiles a lot!
- gets regular manicures (those little nails grow like weeds!)
- has had skype sessions with friends and family in China, Taiwan, Chicago, and California
- loves his carseat carrier and has made lots and lots of trips to the mall - the only place to go and get some exercise in this heat!
In chinese culture, one month is a pretty big deal, so we celebrated his 'red egg' party at a sushi buffet with family.

Smilin'
Dillan's been smiling lots lately...so fun!
Check it out (also a cameo by Mr. Tucker):
Please excuse my baby voice. I don't even realize I do it. However, I've noticed on other people's baby blogs that mommies all have the same voice. Seriously, its the same pitch, same style. Does mommyhood automatically give you this strange baby voice?

Dillan, meet your big cousin Ethan...
...and I do mean BIG. Dillan met his six-month old cousin Ethan this past weekend and we all got a kick out of how much bigger Ethan looks compared to Dillan. Hopefully Dillan will catch up to Ethan at some point, although it may take a while at the rate that Ethan is growing. We're so excited to have them so close in age and hope they will grow up to be best buds. Thanks Eric and Fiona for making the trip from Tulsa to come see baby Dillan and spend some fun family time together!
Baby Switcheroo
Look at that big boy!
Affectionate nicknames: Fatty McFatFat, Sumo, E-Ton
(the baby, not Tim)
Ethan: Why is this kid crying? I'm a gentle giant - no need to be afraid.
Same Chicco infant carriers - very different sized infants.
I don't know how they are even able to lift that thing with Ethan in it!
Love this pic - Grandma and Grandpa with their Grandkiddos!

Grandpa Ong Meets Dillan!
My dad has been getting over a case of the shingles and thus didn't want to expose Dillan to any risk of infection. So he's been keeping his distance and only been able to see Dillan via Skype. He finally got to meet him this past week! He also presented Dillan with a traditional Chinese gold trinket from Grandma and Grandpa Ong. We're so glad Dillan has finally met his Gung gung!
